コンピューターの中で、顕微鏡やシャーレの中の世界のように、波と波の共振や畳み込みを生み出したり、音の波形や周波数を弄れることに魅了され、今に至る。

Tokyo based sound sculptor and signal alchemist. With the field recordings and the ephemeral electronics sounds, once through the processor named Sawako, subtle fragments in everyday life float in space vividly with a digital yet organic texture.

Sawako released her albums from 12k, and/OAR, BASKARU and Anticipate. She had improvised with Taylor Deupree, asuna, Toshimaru Nakamura, Ken Ikeda, tamaru, Andrew Deutsch, Jacob Kirkegaard, Kenneth Kirschner, Hayato Aoki, Daisuke Miyatani, Kyoka, o.blaat, Haruka Nakamura, Ryuichi Sakamoto, among others.

She has performed internationally in Warm Up at P.S.1/MoMA, the Stone, Diapason, Le Poisson Rouge, Tonic, Issue Project Room, Roulette (NYC); MACBA, Sonar Festival (Spain); MUTEK (Canada): OFFF Festival (Lisbon); Glade Festival, Resonance FM, ICA London (UK); Offsite, Super Deluxe, Ftarri, gift_lab, SOUP, Vacant (Japan) and of cause, OTOOTO in Higashi Kitazawa, Tokyo Japan.
